A borderless story
MetaMap is one of the fastest-growing startups in Silicon Valley. They were named a top 50 AI company and one of the next billion dollar startups by Forbes.
In short, MetaMap helps businesses assess people’s trustworthiness, allowing them to expand their user base worldwide while protecting their platforms from fraud, complying with local regulations and optimizing their hiring processes.
The visual language
The grid: a network of trust
MetaMap is all about creating connections between strangers through trust, and doing it at a global scale, breaking all borders on its way. The grid represents that worldwide connection, MetaMap’s vision and north star.
Expressing MetaMap’s modularity
The flexibility with which companies can build user flows to verify their customers or employees sets MetaMap apart.
Our research revealed the square shapes we use for the merits (i.e. ID check) helped users relate them to Lego blocks , and thus to the idea of modularity.
A website that matches MetaMap’s ambitions
MetaMap is different from all competitors in that the breadth of data they offer allows for much more than user authentication. It gives people immense flexibility to prove they’re trustworthy while providing merchants in-depth data regarding financial and work history, as well as user behaviour. Our approach is to explain these complex concepts in simple terms, targeting the biggest pain points of B2C Fintechs, MetaMap’s target audience.

The $70M pitch deck
We worked with MetaMap's CEO and COO to help them craft the narrative and design the pitch deck they used for their series B. We used a modified version of the Design Sprint method to come up with a winning presentation in a week. The first 3 days were focused on intense workshops to define the core elements of the narrative. On Thursday and Friday, we brought the story to life with the final copy and visuals.
We’re proud to keep growing with MetaMap!
